Sustainability Policies

We will help you see the forest for the trees again in terms of the following sustainability policies.

European Green Deal

The European Green Deal is a strategy to make the EU economy sustainable. Across all policy areas, climate and environmental challenges are approached as an opportunity to make the transition as fair and inclusive as possible for all.

The EU Green Deal lays down an action plan for

  • using resources more efficiently by moving towards a clean, circular economy
  • restoring biodiversity and reducing pollution

By 2050, the EU must be climate-neutral. The European climate law has to turn this political pledge into a legal obligation.

This requires the participation of all sectors of the economy through, for example:

  • investing in environmentally friendly technology
  • helping businesses innovate
  • ensure cleaner, cheaper and healthier forms of private and public transport
  • decarbonising the energy sector
  • increasing the energy efficiency of buildings
  • working with international partners to improve global environmental standards

UN Sustainable Development Goals

The UN Sustainable Development Goals are a call to action to promote prosperity while protecting the planet. They acknowledge that the eradication of poverty must go hand in hand with strategies that stimulate economic growth and address a range of social needs, including education, health, social security and employment, while simultaneously addressing climate change and environmental protection. The targets also provide a critical framework for COVID-19 recovery.

ISO 26000

ISO 26000 is an international ISO standard that focuses on corporate social responsibility. The standard is intended to help organisations and companies around the world by giving them tools to implement it.

Environmental, social and corporate governance

Top-level sustainability policy is not always easy to translate into a concrete approach specific to your department within a larger organisation. We will help you translate a general policy to your specific part of the company.

Global Reporting Initiative

The Global Reporting Initiative is an international organisation that draws up guidelines for sustainability reporting. A sustainability report contains the public disclosure of an organisation's economic, environmental and social performance.
